The Garden Room has been developed for us by The Blooming Youth Collective, a group of 16-24 year olds from Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough who are using our venue as their base.
As the name suggests, The Garden Room is filled with house plants that have been grown and nurtured by The Blooming Youth Collective. The space is friendly and welcoming, and we invite everyone to come and spend time in The Garden Room. You are free to relax on the sofa, read a book from the library, work on projects, craft, and chat about the things that matter to you.
The Garden Room is used by The Blooming Youth Collective to host workshops, learn and share new skills, and to build friendships and confidence. Blooming Youth also produce and sell their own ‘Blooming Youth Zine’. Published quarterly, the zine features artwork, poetry, information, and more. All produced by members of The Blooming Youth Collective, along with friends and local creatives. The zine is available to purchase in the Honestly Made, Honestly Sold shop.
